If all parties can not agree, the general approach is for one or more to buy out the shares of the others. If that can't be done, then the house is most often sold and the proceeds divided. If the parties are at odds, then a Petition to Partition is filed in court and the judge will usually order the sale. In family situations I suggest that all parties would benefit from meeting with an attorney to review the whole matter and try to achieve a settlement before legal fees and family distress get too far down the road.
