when a will is taken to court to be probated,are all those mentioned in the will supposed to be notified,and what can be done if those people were never notified of that date and only knew about it after the fact?

Much will depend upon the particular facts and circumstances of a specific case. The intent of notice is to allow challenges to the will, and if there are any concerns with the intended executor or other personal representative.
