Is an oral promise to pay my brother-in-law for my sister's grave stone enforceable?

Re: Oral Promise to Pay

Just because an agreement is oral, it does not mean it is unenforceable. If you agreed to pay for the headstone, and your brother-in-law reasonably relied on it, the agreement should be enforceable. In any event, it is probably much wiser to simply live up to your promise.

I hope this helps!
