NJ motor vehicle judgment

I have a judgment against me for an accident I had over 30 years ago.Is there a statute of limitations on this judgment. If not will the state of New Jersey settle for less money to satisfy this claim?

Generally, state court judgments remain of record for 20 years. But, they can be "refiled" for additional 20 year increments. It's always possible to propose a settlement of a judgment. Apparently, not much of an effort has been made by the state to enforce the judgment.
