Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, but just last week got a letter in the mail for my court date and found out the charge was reduced to disorderly conduct/wandering. What should I expect at court?

This is a disorderly persons offense that carries fairly high fines, potential jail time, potential loss of driving privileges, and having a disorderly persons offense conviction record. I would advise you to hire a lawyer, or if you cannot afford a private lawyer to apply for the public defender. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
