First, you assume that you will be convicted. Spend some money on a good attorney and you may not even have to worry about that. Call me anytime at 732/773/2768 to discuss.

I had a very similar case some years ago--the main ting is to get a lawyer, get the warrant lifted, and let the attorney represent you as the case is reopened. if you have had little or no problem since, you could well be fine--or you maty be able to beat the case if the State can;t produce witnesses...any number of things can occur...

I agree with above answers. You need to get the warrant lifted and defend the case and you need an attorney to assist you. As a former Assistant Couinty Prosecutor in New Jersey I can assist you.

I would be happy to follow up with you. Please email me directly or call my office if you would like to schedule an appointment either in person or by telephone. My contact information is listed in the links below.

Each case is unique, so it is impossible to say at this time whether you will be facing jail time if you are convicted. The sentence you would receive if you were convicted would be dependent upon various factors, including the amount of stolen property at issue and any prior criminal record you may have. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
