Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

some one close to me was picked up on a drug charge in dec. the police officer told him they would work with him and not proceed if he cooperated. a while passed and he called the office but he basically just told him to hold tight. but he now just got a notice to appear for a pre-ind conference. what would you suggest and what does this mean.

He should also provide his lawyer with all documentation of efforts to cooperate. If you - or he - have further questions, please call us at 742-544-1460.
