Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

my dangerous neighbor harasses me

2 years ago, my neighbor (who has brain damage) started harrassing/stalking, threatening me and once he assaulted me. I filed complaints for every incident. He filed cross-complaints (lying about me) I had lots of video/audio evidence, weird letters that he wrote and pushed under my door..., he had no evidence - because I never did anything untoward! There is still a no contact order in place from back then. We went to mediation, finally he swore to leave me alone. Now he has started again (after doing better for most of the two years since then). I haven't spoken one word to him in all this time and rarely even see him, so there is no sane reason for this.

Questions(s): Can I use evidence that I have from then to back up my current complaints against him - to show the kind of behavior that is typical of him, if not of a specific incident on the current complaint? And, if I have evidence to prove my claims and he has none, how much do I have to worry about what he says against me in court?

Thanks

Past incidents of similar conduct can be admissible in evidence and can be inadmissible in evidence. It all depends on how the evidence is offered to the Court. You need the assistance of an
