Probation to about 5 years in prison. That is in addition to a felony record.

Thus, I strongly suggest he get an attorney ASAP. I have an office in Ocean County and I practice in Atlantic County, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.

Re: What is the minimum and maximum possible?

If he is a first offender he could be given first offender treatment which entails a period of supervision by the probation department followed by

the dismissal of the charges. If he has a prior criminal history he get eighteen months in prison.

Call me if you like.

Re: What is the minimum and maximum possible?

I would have to know your son's criminal history before I could give you a definite answer, but in general he faces high fines and prison time. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to your son's in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss this case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
