It is difficult to answer your question without knowing all of the facts of your case because there may be a few options. Typically, however, it would not be uncommon to be able to get you nto a program whereby, if you stayed out of trouble, you would just have some fines and maybe community service. There is also the possibility that you could arrange a type of plea whereby you would not have a record if you did not get into any further trouble.
