first time in jail

what are the chances of a person do little time or a lower bail for the charges og domistic violence, threats with a gun. do not have any other record

There is no real criminal statute for "domestic violence" and "threats with a gun". There is a charge for pointing, shooting, carrying a gun, terroristic threats, etc. I would have to know much more about the case. I suggest you speak to an attorney to discuss this in more detail.
