what is the penalty for a 17 year old to shot a gun in the air ? for new york and new jersey states

2. what is the penalty and charge for a 17 year old to accidentally kill someone in the state of new jersey and new york

NY - for Ny there are several crimes possible for shooting the waepon into the air. (1) possession of a firearm, (2) reckless something, (3) disorderly conduct, (4) reckless endangerment. there are probably other crimes possible. The District attorney can pick his personal favorites.

accidental death - neglegent homicide, reckless indifference, depraved indifference, manslaughter. there are others as well.
