child support paments

i pay just under 300 a week for 2 children i have been divorced about 5 years and have reciently re married my wife is now pregant. the kids live with there mom her boyfriend and his 2 kids she has had another child after the divorce a 4yr can i have the child payments deducted due to the new baby on its way.

You are entitled to a recalculation of your child support payments after the birth of your child, but you might be aware that it may make little difference if your average, weekly paycheck has increased substantially.

I suggest meeting with an attorney before you do anything as Mr. Moore has brought up some valid points. In my opinion, most people (at least initially) pay more than they should because the court does not calculate the child support properly.
