I would like to know at what age is the legal age of emancipation in the state of New Jersey and at what age a child can file for emanicipation from their parents.

Re: EMANCIPATION law

The legal age for emancipation in New Jersey is 18. There is nothing you need to file. If you have the means to support yourself, you can move out and your parents have no legal recourse to force you to come home. They can also throw you out of the house without having to worry about whether or not you can take care of yourself. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me.
