fathers custody

i live in new jersey and have a close friend struggling with the thought of divorce. his two year old daughter is the only thing that holds him back. what type of time will be able to spend with his daughter? he wants her as much and as often as possible.

He can have up to half of the time with his daughter, if that is possible. If he lives close to his wife he can have his daughter three and one half days a week, so long as he does nothing to look bad in the eyes of the Court. Things like domestic violence negatively impact upon custody and visitation rights.
