Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

my passport has been denied due to back spousal support NOT child support. can i fight that somehow? i want my passport for a trip in december

I believe the law says child support, not alimony, can be enforced by preventing a passport from being issued. yes, you should be able to fight this.
