Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Responding to motions

I know my I cannot respond to motions from my ex's attorney, but can I send information to my ex's attorney, daycare information, as an example. I am trying to save attorney fees, do I really need to pay my lawyer to fax simple information when I can fax it myself?

Re: Responding to motions

I don't see why you can't talk to the other attorney. You have to be able to send stuff to him or her. Otherwise, you couldn't file a motion as you wouldn't be serving the other side, no?

I understand your concern about attorney's fees but I would strongly, strongly suggest at least meeting with an attorney to discuss your case. I have an office in Toms River and my initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
