semester off

my son went to college for the fall 2003 semester and decide not to go for the spring semester but to return for the fall due to transportation problems. he informed his father of this in december and know his father filed a montion to emancipate the court date is march 26 three weeks before his early registration date. they are acting like they werent told this nothing is mentioned in the motion about him returning just he is no longer in school. will the judge do this for him taking one semester off to get his drivers license so he can get to school without a problem

The judge can mold an equitable solution, but you must bear in mind that the obligation to assist with college is four years after graduation from high school and not four and a half years.
