signing of divorce papers without a lawyer representation

Legality of papers signed in error by one spouse being taken by the other spouse represented by an attorney. The spouse having signed in error was in position of the signed paper and not being represented by an attorney at this point in time.

hi - it's not illegal to have the papers signed without both sides having lawyers. but, there might be language in the document about you waiving your right to legal counsel. that's important if you try to reopen the judgment of divorce or set aside the property settlement agreement. perhaps you should see a lawyer and bring what you have signed to her/him for a consultation. feel free to call me at 609 263-0089 if you have any questions. good luck !!
