Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

I have a civil claim against a major bank, I was falsely arrested in 2006 and file a claim. The defense has cancelled in June and this past Tuesday for the deposition. I would like to know how long is the discovery time frame. We were orginally supposed to do it on 6/19/2009 and they cancelled. Then 7/21/2009 and again they cancelled. I have lost everything due to this arrest, my job, my residence, and have been denied 2 other positions because it is still on my record even though the case was dismissed. Please respond.

I hope you have an attorney. I am certain the bank has excellent attorneys. Your discovvery period is that set by the court in a letter to all parties at the beginning of the case and then it can be extended for good cause for a reasonable time if application is made before the discovery

time period expires. You must be referring to conducting depositions when you refer to something being cancelledl. Call me if you like.
