Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

My daughter will have her 17 b-day party, and I do not allow alkohol. But I know that other kids might bring alkohol. I need to know if I can be held responsible for that???

If underage drinking occurs under your watch on your property even if you do not supply the alcohol, if you know these other darlings are going to bring it to your house, you could still potentially face liability. Do not allow it. tell your sons friends that there is absolutely no alcohol allowed at this party. Your daughter, sorry about that but anyway I hope you protect yourself and make it known to her friends that alcohol is not acceptable.
