Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

An LLC owns a 1-door rental property. The LLC received a lawsuit (personal injury lawsuit for slipping in snow). By all accounts, the lawsuit will take ages to clear... it hasn't even started (dates keep on getting postponed). Can the rental property be sold? What's the impact? Selling will effectively close the LLC partnership.
