Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

A man that I know, moved out of his previous Apt before finding another one. I have a house that I'm having some work done to, he ask if he could stay and would pay me to live there until he found a place . I explained to him that work was being done on the 3rd floor and the roof, he said that was find, he just needed a place for his things and lay his head down. I told him he could not move anyone in with him, no drug use or have anyone else in the building using drugs. He said okay. One day I went by the house and saw evidence that he was not living by himself and saw quite few of use dmatches laying along side the floor boards. I told him this was not going to work out and plus he moved in a woman and her son he had just met recently before moving in. This woman is a know drug user, I told him they both had to leave and could not stay at the house any longer anthat he shoul look for something more permanent. It took about 2-3 weeks for him to finally leave, pluse he had changed the lock on the door and the workers could not get in to work. Now he's suing me, saying he was wrongly evicted. He never signed a contract or discussed one, it was suppose to be a temporary agreement if he followed the rules but he didn't. How do I handle this?
