Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

Signed contract at a dealership

I pre-ordered a car in March 2002 and promised delivery by november-december. The contract was to be submitted to the manufacturer as soon as it was sign but I found out in december that it was never submitted and that they would submit it now and I would have my car March of 2003. I refused. Is there any kind of action I can take against them for this since it was a signed contract. My $100 deposit was returned but I still feel cheated since I am not getting the car. thanks

Re: Signed contract at a dealership

you have a breach of contract claim, however, you need to prove damages. you may also have a claim for fraud.
