Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

I am being sued for non payment of last 2 bills from orthopedics office. They were never suppose to contact me (employee/patient) for payment. All bills were suppose to go (and were) to dept. Of labor. First, they billed under wrong code then second, are suing me for their mistake. Can I counter sue for the stress i've been put under because of this and how/for what?

Everyone always has the right to sue for almost anything - but this does not appear to be a worthwhile action to take. The more prudent action would be to make sure that the case against you is dismissed based on the mistakes the orthopedic office made in billing.
