Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

Now I'm US Citizen I want to petition my husband who is already here in states but my question is when i got a citizenship I was single but I was already married a long time before should be a problem if I petition him as my husband even though that my citizenship is single?

As long as you were not still married to your first husband when you married your second spouse, then it does not matter whether you were single or married when you received your citizenship.
