Re: H4 to J1

A change of status from H-4 to H-1B1 is a much better option for you; J visas have restrictions and usually come with a residence requirement after the visa ends.

You can email me for an appointment to discuss your immigration options.

Most of the time J1 visa comes witha residency requirement that means if you want to change status you need a waiver from your home country. Why aren't you opting for H1B?
