Re: Shoplifting

There may be some question as to whether or not you were convicted of an aggravated felony. Aggravated felony convictions trigger the most disastrous immigration consequences of any ground of deportation and result in terrible criminal sentences for those who re-enter after deportation.

Please schedule an appointment with an Attorney to determine from the record of conviction whether your conviction is or is not an aggravated felony. If it is, you need to avoid deportation as a result of an aggravated felony conviction. This may involve issues pertaining to post-conviction relief in criminal court and relief from removal in immigration court.

An analysis and consultation with a seasoned and experienced Immigration/Criminal Defense Attorney is absolutely indispensable for a possible deportation defense.
