Legal Question in Legal Ethics in New Jersey

Small Claims?

I had a business agreement 2 work from LA 4 a company that is incorporated in NJ, but does work n MD & DC. There's no real address for their place of business. But their cell phone bill is sent to MD. I found a website that mentions if there is no address for a business then I can file in my own state. Is that true? How can I double check and verify if a company does or doesn't have a legit address before I pay for a claim n a particular state? But I mainly want to know if it is possible 2 file n LA? TWO: If I have 2 file in NJ or MD is there a way 2 do a declaration by mail or by phone during the court if I can't fly out to the east coast on the particular court day? I have enough information voice messages, emails, and documents to prove my case. Can it be done by phone or mail in either of those states? Thank you so much for providing an outlet for those of us who are baffled by court laws and mandates. My appreciation far exceeds what you know. THANK YOU!
