Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

Nightclub Injury : What should I settle for?

I walked into a nightclub when a fight broke out in front of me. Although I was not involved, I was hit over the head with a glass bottle. I suffered a major laceration to the side of my head. I was then thrown out of the bar by a member of the staff and left to bleed to death on the street. I now have a large laceration by my right eye. I have all of my hospital costs documented, but was never able to find the person at fault. I am now suing the nightclub. What is a reasonable settlement for a facial injury of this kind? Thank you for your time.

Assuming the case is in suit, you should discussthis matter with your attorney. The value of the case depends on a number of factors, including the location of the action and all of the facts.

If the case is not in suit, you should consult with an attorney.
