Someone opens a door causing you to fall

My grandmother was standing with her back to a glass door at a Diner, when a man approached from her side, and started to open the door. She ended up toppling backwards not expecting the door to be open, and fell cutting her hand and breaking her wrist. Who might be liable in this situation? Should we look into it?

If someone opens a door causing some one to fall than it means that the said person is negligent and hence liable for tortious liablities. Take advise of attorney/lawyer
