Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

mold

I purchased a home for myself( I am a Realtor) from a listing agent in another county. After a home inspection and several now known misrepresentations from the owner I purchased the house. After approx two wks I found a large amount of black mold in a bathroom which I needed to remove immead. causing me health issues and unforseen expenses of ripping out the entire bathroom.

Where do i stand seeking damages?

Re: mold

You closed title after an inspection. Therefore, you may not have a claim aginst the seller, although if he knew of this situation and it was latent, you could have a claim. It appears your actual claim may be against the inspecor who missed this, if it were a patent (noticeable problem) and not hidden in walls. I need more information on how you discovered the mold, and what what said in the inspection report to give you a more accurate response.
