do i have a case if my old landlord who evicted me, threw away my belongings without giving me a chance to get it when that was our aggreement when i left

Yes.

A landlord has specific obligations defined by statute that relate to safekeeping of tenant's property. Unless the landlord followed the notification and timing requirements of the statute, tenant is entited to recover the value of the propert and, in some cases, double that.
