Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

My father passed away about 19 months ago. A recent will was put in for probate in NJ, Hackensack Court. 4 days later I went to submit an older joint will but was told the newer will was submitted. I placed a caviat on the will. Since then, nothing has happened. Is there any thing I can do? Doesn't the court have a responsibility to move the probate along...or at least call me for reasons of my caviat? Would any NJ lawyers be interested in talking to the probate court in NJ on my behalf to see what's going on? Please advise.
