How long does the person handling a will or attorney"s office have to contact people mentioned in the will in the state of New Jersey?

They are required to issue a Notice of Probate within a reasonable period of time after the Will is probated. Probate cannot occur at least until 10 days after the person dies. Sometimes there is a delay in probate, for many legitimate reasons, and this can expand the time until the Will is probated. More information may be needed to answer more specifically.
