when a will states a home is left to someone and all contents of home and personal property is left to another party is all personal property including all money that is left?

Unless you are talking about a coin collection, money left in the house would NOT be considered personal property. It would be considered an asset of the estate and in this case, would not pass to the person who inherits the house or the person who inherits the personal property.

personal property usually means jewelry, furniture, collectibles etc. Some jurisdictions state that money may be considered personal property as well.
