Is my son covered under the ADA if he has a life threatning reaction to peanuts which affects his breathing.

He has an food allergy, -- that's not what the ADA was designed to protect. It's not a "disability."

I was bothered by my response, so I went to check for sure.
It turns out that the ADA MAY well cover your son, so definitely check out the asthma and allergy foundation website. Search on "ADA allergy".
