Ask your attorney for a meeting and to explain to you what the status of the case is. The attorney should be able to give you documents regarding custody, child support, and a marital settlement agreement, and a decree if the divorce has been granted. If you don't like the answer you get then get another attorney. You can also go to the courthouse and review the case file - see for yourself what the status is. You will need the case number to get the file. Look for an administrative dismissal - if the case has not been active for six months the court can close it on that basis. Then you will have to file a motion to reopen the case. If you don't like the service your're getting from your attorney get a new attorney.
