Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Mexico

I recently relocated from Albuquerque NM to Ft. Myers Fl. When attempting to get a Florida driver's license I was told that I have unresolved traffic citations in NM. I contacted the municipal court in NM and was told that I have seven outstanding citations, one of which is a Failure to Appear and has resulted in the issuance of a bench warrant.

I cannot afford to go back to NM to appear in court. Is there any way to resolve this issue from the state of Florida?

Yes. All it takes is money. A NM attorney can attend to the disposition of pending cases and the bench warrant without you being present, but the fines, court costs and attorney's fees will be substantial.
