Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Mexico
time frame
from new mexico, are ther statue of limitation of time frame to contact attorney for broken leg, caused by coworker, dropped metal on--name removed--leg,broke tib/fib, employer wants to settle because states i am out of wc
been back to work for 6mnths or so.
question why this is a issue now? did not plan on contacting lawyer at time but, employer is bring up dr. issues, as far as mobility and so forth. (titanum rod insert, does tend

The statute of limitations has NOTHING to do with when you contact a lawyer, but when you file your claim with workman's comp. if you were injured on the job, file first and worry about contacting a lawyer later.
