Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York
I am currently in a chapter 13 bankruptcy repayment plan and I am 5 months behin on my mortgage payments. Is ir true that I am not able to pursue any type of mortgage help because of the ch 13 ? I have been told that I have no choice but to come up with the late payments plus attorney and bank fees or the bank will start the foreclosure process.
