Legal Question in Business Law in New York

Breach Of Contract

In August 2005 I recently sought out the financial assistance of an instution to obtain a personal loan. I was asked to provide a deposit in order to immediatly have the loan released to me. I sent in the requested deposit amount but did not receive my loan. I was then asked to send additional money's to cover 2 additional deposits. Upon not receiving my loan. I requested that my money's and all fees for wiring the money be refunded. The business stated that I would receive my refund within 30 business days. On the date of february 14, 2006 I am still currently waiting for my refund.

Re: Breach Of Contract

It appears that you have a good case of negligent misrepresentation, and breach of contract, or even criminal fraud. You may first want to contact the Attorney General's office for some assistance, or the FTC. This may get you faster results, otherwise, depending on the amount of money that's in question, you may wish to start law suit against that company in either small claims (if under $5000) or district / superior court.
