As far as your business entity, a DBA does not limit your liability and does not afford you any protection from legal claims and creditors. You should consider incorporating your business. Consult an attorney before you choose the entity type.

The other attorney is right on point here. You will likely need a license from Customs. There is probably a similar requirement in the country of origin. Don't operate the business as a DBA unless you have liability insurance covering all possible expose with a very high limit ($5 million).
