Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

Do I have a case?

I am a 29 year old woman. I was wrongfully put off of a Greyhound bus (54 witness on this bus can prove this). State troopers showed up. They did not access the situation. They told me to get my bags and get off the bus. I was searched down and put in the back of a squad car and at 3am in the morning and taken to a NJtransit train stop. I was told to find someone to pick me, and they left me there. I honestly did not do anything on this bus to be thrown off at 3 am in the morning. Please advise on whether I should pursue this.

Thank you.

Re: Do I have a case?

I would need more information. What specifically was the reason the officers decided you should leave the bus. Generally police officers have a good deal of leverage in assessing these situations.

Should you like to discuss this or any other legal matter, you can e-mail me for more information about low cost face-to-face, on-line, or a telephone consultation with a lawyer in our office.
