dismissed case

Greetings,

Ten years agao my ex-husband tried to throw me down a flight of stairs, I grabbed a stick a smallone lucklly and hit him with it, I ran and called the cops, they came and arrested me!!!! his head a tiny bit of blood on it he did not need medical attention. The case was dismissed and I found out that it came up on a backround check. The Port Authority wants to hire me however is this going t be a problem?I never been in any trouble in my entire life. What do I do? The record is closed in court.

Re: dismissed case

It shouldn't be a problem. You were not convicted of any crime. If the issue comes up, address it honestly.
