Legal Question in Constitutional Law in New York

unconsented news report

The news came in to my place of work. A bar and recorded me working as a bartender. I was made aware they were going to interview us but they never did and didnt want to be put on TV or the news. Is this legal for them to put me on TV without my consent?

If it was a bonafide news program, and they were in a place with public access, yes, they can film you without your consent.

Should you like to discuss this or any other legal matter, you can e-mail me for more information about low cost face-to-face, on-line, or a telephone consultation with a lawyer in our office.
