Extend Mechanic's Lien

If I want to extend my lien on commercial (multi-residential) property do I need a court order? This is my first attempt at an extension. Help

As long as it's bigger than a one-to-four family building, you can usually extend the lien by notice without a court order. But you should spend $250 to have a lawyer take a quick look at the situation,'cos if there are any special circumstances, your lien is gone with the wind if you don't renew correctly.
