Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

I'd like to know if I can collect money from a company that is planing on going out of business. The are denying payments to my company, and the process of their payments is taking too long. Tehy're offering just 1/2 of what they owe me.

You certainly have a cause of action against the company for breach of contract. The problem is that by the time you obtain the Judgment there may be no assets. That decision is not a "legal" decision, it is a "business" decision.
