Generally, a judgment that is only for a past due debt will not impede your travels. However, the creditor may be able to levy your assets, garnish your wages or take other measures to enforce the judgment. Depending on the circumstances of your case, if it is a default judgment, you may be able to have the judgment vacated by the court. If you would like to discuss please call.
