Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

judgment enforcement

can an attorney enforce a second judgment while the first one has never been vacated? i had two judgments for the same debt, one filed in 2001 and the second granted in 2007 while the first was still in place. is the enforcement of the second invalid?
